Innovative fundraising method for international organisations
The HelpGroup GmbH, operates in Europe, as an internet-based technology company in the field of fundraising for charitable organisations. We have developed the first ‘software as a service’ in the world, which manages the design, and complete operations of charity gift cards. As ‘full service provider’, under the brand name ‘HelpCard’, we create and run white label web portals, based on our internet-based technology, which can be seamlessly integrated in our partners’ existing web sites. Our services are geared towards trusts, humanitarian organisations, as well as fundraising institutions, such as universities, clubs or political initiatives of various sizes. In 2011, the HelpCard has been introduced internationally and is now available in different European countries.

The Beginning
In 2008, the HelpCard was tested, for the first time, on the donation web site HelpDirect.org. Today’s HelpGroup GmbH, operator and creator of the HelpCard, was founded in 2009, in order to market the HelpCard technology. The HelpCard’s latest form and structure, was created after many tests and much activity in early 2010. For the product launch, the release of the BaFin (German bank supervision) as well as a legally binding advice from the Finanzamt (German tax office), had to be obtained. As of mid-/end of 2010, the HelpCard is being used successfully by many international organisations.
