Harald brings to the table more than 25 years of management experience in international enterprises in CRM, marketing, sales, consulting and business development. As early as in 1999, in the early phase of the internet’s commercialization, he served on the management team in one of the first publicly traded investor groups.

In 2000 he received an award from Financial Times Germany as one of the 101 leading new economy managers. Before founding the HelpGroup Harald served six years as area manger new business management for a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.

In 1999, in the beginnings of internet business, Harald developed the donation platform HelpDirect.org years before any other donation portal came along. He is therefore considered the German pioneer of internet fundraising.

In 2006 he established the first German charity journal in cooperation with a munich-based publisher which often served as a link between online and offline fundraising. In 2010 he was consequently awarded the treasured award – Best of Corporate Publishing Award Gold, the highest european distinction for charity journals.

For many years Harald has been consulting SME and large corporations in the field of corporate social responsibility.
